SUMMARY:Rockbridge Christmas Baskets Program
DESCRIPTION:Packing Day 2024 was successful\, thanks to our wonderful community supporters and volunteers. Together\, we packed 80 tons of nutritious food into 1\,900 boxes and 577 bags of toys. We served 3\,453 people as part of 1\,186 families\, including 1\,215 children. \nThe Rockbridge Christmas Basket Program is a 100% volunteer organization\, so our overhead and expenses are extremely low. That means roughly 95% of the funds we receive go to fulfilling our mission of providing food and toys to those in need. \nHouseholds in need receive approximately 40 pounds of healthy food\, and every child gets a toy appropriate for his or her age. \nJoin us and hundreds of your friends and neighbors as we come together in the spirit of Christmas to help those less fortunate in our community.
