2025 Mid-Atlantic Dressage Festival and Lexington CDI3* Prize List Now Online
Lexington, Va. – March 11, 2024 – The Virginia Horse Center is pleased to announce that the prize list for the 2025 Mid-Atlantic Dressage Festival and Lexington CDI3* (MADFest), presented by Täkt Saddlery – Hand-Crafted, Bespoke Saddles for Dressage, Show Jumping, and Eventing, is now available online. MADFest returns to the Virginia Horse Center for its fourth year, May 15-18, 2025, showcasing the premier dressage competition. Featuring both CDI and National classes, MADFest attracts world-class athletes from up and down the East Coast.
This year’s competition serves as a qualifying event for the new U.S. Equestrian Open of Dressage. As one of only three East Coast qualifiers outside of Florida, MADFest is expected to draw elite competitors eager to earn their place in the prestigious series final.
Riders must complete a minimum of two Grand Prix Freestyles at designated US Open qualifying CDIs during 2025 to be eligible for the series final, which will take place in California. The series offers travel grants and an exciting $50,000 high-point series incentive across the qualifiers, with a total of $200,000 in prize money to be distributed at the final event.
Like last year, CDI classes and all events in the DeeDee Arena will be live-streamed through ClipMyHorseTV. Due to MADFest’s participation in the US Open, the qualifying classes will also be broadcast globally on the USEF Network, providing exceptional exposure for both sponsors and competitors!
Join us for a Welcome Party and a Special Talk and Demo with Catherine Haddad-Staler and JJ Tate, where they will share their knowledge about and provide guidance on “The Purchase of Your Next Horse” on Friday evening in the East Complex. All competitors, trainers, grooms, and their friends are welcome to join this special event sponsored by Loring Woodriff Real Estate Associates and The Dutta Corporation.
