Camping at VHC
Our facility includes 120 campsites with water and electric hookups in four campground areas conveniently located within walking distance of the barns and indoor and outdoor arenas. Campsites are located in the northeast and southwest corners of the VHC, atop the hill near the Pavilion and in front of Anderson Coliseum.
- Generator and dry camping are also available.
- Showers are located in the East Complex.
- A dump station is provided in the North Campground.

VHC offers convenient on-site camping for you and your horse!
Camping Fees
Camping with electricity & water: $57.65 per night, including tax.
Tent & generator camping: $34.59 per night, including tax. No reservation is required.

Our campgrounds are located near grocery stores, dining, lodging, and many other amenities for your comfort. The quaint town of Lexington offers three colleges, historical sites for the history buff, outdoor recreation on the Maury River, and near the Blue Ridge Parkway/Appalachian Trail, breweries, farms and agriculture, and family activities galore!
Golf Cart Rentals
The Virginia Horse Center is proud to offer a new fleet of golf carts at affordable prices.
Only $85 per day.
