- IEA is a national 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to introducing and promoting lifelong involvement in equestrian athletics.
- IEA utilizes a unique draw-based team competition format, in which riders are not required to own their own horse or riding tack to participate, providing greater affordability and access to the sport.
- IEA has nearly 15,000 members across the United States, riding and coaching 3 disciplines – HUNT SEAT, WESTERN, and DRESSAGE.
