Support Virginia Horse Center
Join Our Community!
The Virginia Horse Center Foundation is a nonprofit community supporting equestrian competitions, education, and preservation.
The 600-acre center hosts a variety of activities, preserving Virginia’s rural charm and history. As a privately operated organization, the Foundation relies on donations to cover operational costs and facility improvements, ensuring the continuation of its mission.
Our story
The Virginia Horse Center Foundation story began 40 years ago with the shared dream of some 90 community-minded leaders who championed the concept of a dedicated equestrian showground that could simultaneously serve as a community and economic hub.
Today, the Horse Center story continues with 600 acres featuring a 4,000-seat coliseum, 7 indoor arenas, 10 outdoor arenas, 745 stalls, more than 7 miles of trails, and 120 campsites. For 40 years, the Virginia Horse Center has hosted countless equestrians and their beloved horses on our grounds, with all breeds, disciplines, and skill levels welcomed with equal care, attention to detail, and safety.
