Afonwen Rihanna Steel Your Heart [Steel Your Heart] won the Sarahlisa Trophy Best Child Pony Type.
The trophy was donated by longtime Virginia Horse Center supporter Leslie Brown and her son Andrew. Leslie named the award after their pony Sarahlisa, and said, “She was the ultimate for a beginner’s pony and could have been a model for Thelwell. She was an Indian pony from Oklahoma, and I bought her when she and Andrew were just four years old.”
