The Lexington National is a Wrap!

The Lexington National wrapped up after five days of top competition with more than 750 horses on the grounds at the Virginia Horse Center.

A WCHR week plus the VHSA/EMO Junior Hunt Seat Medal, Adult Medal and Children’s Medal Finals, the VHSA Junior Horsemanship Championship, Friday’s Derby Day in the Sandy Gerald, the Freestyle Equitation Challenge, the AYR Equitation Finals, the Community Jr. Sendoff party and so much more made this show one for the books!

Show Manager Allen Rheinheimer commented, "This was the largest show of the Virginia Festival of Champions in the past two years. The Sandy Gerald Derby Day and the Equitation Freestyle Challenge on Friday were very well received, and everyone enjoyed the new additions to the schedule. The number of exhibitors at the show was very encouraging and we saw many show here who have never been to the Virginia Horse Center before. We received a lot of positive feedback, and we are happy that everyone had a good time. We are especially thankful for the support of our sponsors, vendors and the hard-working show staff.”
